Agile Purchasing is a new purchasing method through which public agencies can quickly acquire goods and/or services through Mercado Público . Suppliers can send their quotes and sell their products for an amount equal to or less than 30 Monthly Tax Units, UTM (Article 10 bis of this Regulation).
Now these purchases must be made via the new Agile Purchase module in the Public Market , requiring a minimum of three prior quotes.

Agile Procurement seeks to streamline, simplify and standardize processes in public purchases of smaller amounts, in order to be more efficient with respect to the costs involved in purchasing through this means. For example, the costs of a simple tender specification between 10 and 30 UTM cost the State approximately $250,000, which represents a significant percentage of the product or service being acquired.
Agile Purchasing increases transparency and ensures traceability by requiring that online quotes continue to be contained as an attached document on the platform.
